Apartment 100: The refinement of Mont Blanc quartzite in movement and contrast
Fluidity and movement set the tone for Apartment 100, an elegant property located in Greater Porto Alegre (RS). The project, developed by architect João Pedro Crescente, from Ambidestro Arquitetura, and executed by De Carli Marmoraria, features the natural veins and off-white hues of Mont Blanc quartzite.
Mont Blanc bathroom
Creating a bold contrast, Mont Blanc quartzite was used in the bathroom floor, highlighting its neutral hues and pearly shine against the imposing black of the ebonized wood that surrounds the walls of the room.
As it receives a water-repellent treatment in its production, Mont Blanc quartzite does not absorb liquids, making it more resistant to stains and very suitable for covering floors in wet areas, such as bathrooms, washrooms, kitchens and other damp environments.
Design in Quartzite
Bringing more refinement to other areas of Apartment 100, Mont Blanc was also used in the living room, this time in a beautiful fireplace with a carved wave-like finish.
The same type of cladding was used in the fireplace in the couple's bedroom, on a larger scale, proving that natural stone allows professionals to explore their creativity and work with different applications and formats using the same material.
